Skate or die!

This weekend I began learning how to skateboard.

Also this weekend my niece began learning how to ride a bike.

We both fell. We both got up. We both wanted more.

She's 7. I'm 39. We both were excited. We both were scared.

We both asked for help.

I felt like a kid again. She felt like an adult.

Age is irrelevant in the pursuit of something outside the comfort zone.

If we stop learning, if we stop falling, if we stop reaching...age will matter.

Because it is at that age, the cessation of growth, that we begin to die.

7, 39, 47, 68, 72, 86, 98...these numbers are just the beginning.

So begin!
