When there is no excpectation
Our lives are our responsibility. No one else's.
That can be confronting. It can bring up some serious hurt. Loneliness.
It doesn't mean we need to remove ourselves from society and carry the weight alone.
No, not at all. Rather, there are no expectations. There are no co-dependencies. There is no mushiness.
And then, when we take full responsibility and we ask for help or reach out to someone with no expectation, we can receive so much more.
We can open to the person with gratitude and love.
Again, when it's not from expectation but ownership, we can be.
We can respect.
We can love.
