The Winter Solstice

The first day of winter was yesterday. The winter solstice. It's a time when life slows down a bit. When we get to tap into a deeper knowing within. A gold, rich tradition. Yes, the holidays, but even more than that, a flicker of an old flame deep inside, and it ignites.

The winter solstice is a time to allow for rebirth. To let old wounds come to the surface and heal. It is a time to feel. Breathe into the feeling. Even if it's only for 5 minutes. Breathe into the feeling.

But that rich tradition, it's a time of laughter and joy. Of heart and hope. Of well, gold. Shed the old with grace and ease. Step into this period of cultivation. Cultivate that flame. Let it speak to you. And if you have troubles, try meditating at night. Let the darkness engulf you and fill every pore in your body. Breathe. Up and down your body. And see what bubbles to the surface.

Festive gold.
