Monday is for Hearts. A simple way to have the old gal explode.

“The heart has its reasons of which reason knows nothing. It is the heart which perceives God and not the reason. That is what faith is: God perceived by the heart, not by the reason.”
Blaise Pascal

The heart. Oh the heart. What a tender beast. It can roar, whisper, weep, laugh, hold, nurture, grasp, gush, shudder, open, ponder, shut, and lead. And by lead I mean it is a leader. To me, the heart knows, it leads to truth. My truth. And it separates out irrational thoughts. Fears. Falsehoods.

It is truth.

Pretty damn cool. So, I invite you to go easy on the old gal. Feed her. Nurture. Love her. Cherish her. Treat her to a romantic dinner, a fine bottle of wine, maybe a soufflé, and don't forget to compliment her. She is after all your truth.

Give it a try this week. Every morning, before you get out of bed, a simple compliment to your heart. And do it for no other reason than pure, undying love.
