Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
“And the night shall be filled with music,
And the cares, that infest the day,
Shall fold their tents like the Arabs,
and silently steal away.”
― Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Man I love that quote. Makes you just want to go sigh the weight of the world out and float away. Tonight, do just that. Walk outside, listen to the music of the night and let the cares of the day fold up their tents and silently steal away. I'm serious, put a note in your calendar and stargaze. Breathe in the night air. It's magical. There is something so different from the day. It's like you can finally let that breath out that you were holding in all day at work. The night has peace. A certain cleansing energy to it.
When you go outside, take a few deep breaths, look up, and imagine all the worries of the day melting off you. The night is for you. It is there for you to rest. Recharge. Bask in it. Send your hopes and dreams out into the unknown. Have a good cry if you like. It's yours.
And if you really want to get wacky, notice there is no perceptible ending and beginning to where the night sky becomes space. We were given a gigantic bubble of air to free float in the Universe. So float. We are not looking up at the night sky...we are a part of it.
