DAY 30: Who are you? I'M BATMAN!!!
"Always be yourself. Unless you can be Batman, always be Batman."
I’m not saying I am batman, I am just saying no one has ever seen me and batman in the same room. I’m just saying.
I love Batman. He is my favorite superhero. Would you like to know why I like him so much? It’s because he is human. That’s it. He’s just a plain old regular guy…that never gives up. His goal is to save Gotham City (self-love in our case). He’s suffered. He’s loved. He’s achieved a superhuman greatness. And in truth…We are Batman. We are human. We are superhuman. We are!!! There is nothing we can’t achieve. It is only the limits we place on ourselves that hold us back. We have a choice in every second of our lives to decide who we will be in that moment. Do you choose to give up and let fear, comparison, your past and judgment hold you back? Are you going to give your power away? Or do you choose to be Batman? Do you choose to fight for your life! Because that’s what this is. This is the fight for your life. The fight to LIVE your life. To hell with everything else. IT IS YOUR LIFE! Be Batman. Get knocked around, get beat up, but get back up, keep pressing on, fight tooth and nail for YOU, you are worth it. I am worth it. WE are worth it.
Guys, it’s self-love. I know I have hammered this point a lot but that’s it. And how wonderful is that! Self-love. You don’t have to sacrifice a goat, chant in a tibetan monastery for six years, or worry about which teaching is right to achieve it. Everything says it. It doesn’t go against anything. Jesus states, ”God is love, and he who abides in him abides in God, and God in him.” I could cite something similar from every major religion and spiritual teaching. The Universe/Creator/God/Source/Love all are apart of you and by you loving you, you are HONORING that which is in you. YOU!!! We were designed like that. It makes this process a heck of a lot easier. And that’s the key to all of this, it’s supposed to be easy. We don’t have to suffer to be healed or feel love. It doesn’t have to be this arduous process. Start seeking new paths for betterment. Paths that scare you. Paths that may not be “normal.” Screw normal. Normal made me miserable. Normal made me want to die. Normal is not normal. Who the hell said normal was normal anyway? Are they smarter than me? Do they know me better that I know me? I don’t think so. So that’s enough of people telling us we are supposed to be normal. And lastly, ALL OF THIS IS IN US. Everything that we are searching for, is there. We just need to dig it up. We were all born with incredible gifts. We’ve just forgotten how to use them. We all can relearn. It can begin at any second. There is no past or future. It’s just NOW. Remember, when working with yourselves, be gentle, be kind, treat your body right, BREATHE, and most importantly, do every single thing out of love….of your self.
Welp, that just about wraps this incredible journey up. I have to thank Bridget for pushing me to do this. About 24 hours before the Experiment was to launch, I almost scratched the entire thing. I was afraid. Hah, I was terrified! I couldn’t sleep or eat the week leading up to it. But there it was, fear. That sneaky bastard. And wouldn’t you know, it’s been one of the greatest experiences of my life. Ah, life. You crazy cat. I’m not sure where we are going next with this but the “30 day” part has ended. Bryce’s Grand Experiment will continue for sure. I am going to have guest writers post on this. I will of course try to post multiple times a week (I still have to push that self-love thing). I will keep looking for tools to better myself. I will share them with you. Please share your tools with me. Email me anytime at email@example.com.
I have no idea what the future holds and you know what, I’m ok with that. I know this crazy Universe has my back. But I will tell you this, when I get knocked down, I’m sure as hell going to get back up. I’m going to dust myself off. I’m going to fight on! I have the Universe inside me! I am limitless. I am anything I choose to be. I am grateful! I am vulnerable! I am joy! I am trust! I am love! I am Bryce! I AM! Who are you?
Who am I?
