Awakening at Google

At the end of April I get to speak on a panel of fitness and wellness experts at Google. Interestingly enough I don't really fit the category, I'm more there to talk about "practical spirituality."

It's one thing to know what we "should" do but it's another to want to do it, believe we can do it, and how to do it, i.e. practical spirituality.

And as I was typing my bio and info for this talk, I started to find myself veering off in my message, in my Truth. THIS IS GOOGLE!

What do they want to hear? What do they need? What will entice them?

I sounded like a cross between Tony Robbins and Oprah Winfrey. I didn't sound like me (which is always a work in progress).

So, I sat with myself and thought, what do I do? I coach people. I lead meditations. I feng shui.

But at the core, it is Awakening. Awakening to live deeply and powerfully.

Now, lawyer, marketing brain kicked in and hates that word. Awakening. I can't say that. It's not good for corporate environments.

But, alas, it is. Awakening. It's arising from a slumber of complacency and numbness. Of "I can't" and hopelessness. It is deciding to live at the magnitude in which we were meant to. Nothing less.

So, if you happen to be at Google, April 30th from 1-2, I will be talking about Awakening to live deeply and powerfully.

And see what word or life choices you may be veering away from because it doesn't fit the mold. Maybe it's time to create a new one.
